In a standard treatment, Reiki energy flows from the practitioners hands into the client. The client can specify if they prefer light touch to no touch. The client is usually laying on a massage table but treatments can also be given while the client is seated or even standing. The client remains fully clothed during the session. The practitioner places their hands on or near the clients body in a series of hand positions. These include positions around the head and shoulders, the stomach, and feet. Other, more specific positions may be used based on the clients needs. Each position is held for three to ten minutes depending on how much Reiki the client needs at each position. .

During a Crystal Healing Session, the energy flows from the crystals into the client. There is limited touch during a Crystal Healing Session. The client is usually laying on a massage table, in some cases the client can be seated. The client remains fully clothed during the session. The practitioner uses a pendulum or Quartz wand to cleanse, charge and align the chakras.  Each chakra is balanced for three to ten minutes depending on how much balancing the client needs at each chakra.

Crystal Healing and Reiki are complimentary treatments and are often done together.

Transpersonal Crystal Healing combines Crystals as well as Reiki into the session. During a Transpersonal Crystal Healing Session, the practitioner will counsel the client on which crystals are being used before beginning a session.

If you have never received a session, it will begin with a brief health history and an explanation on how Reflexology works and what happens during a session. The client will then be placed in a relaxing and comfortable position on a massage table. The client remains fully clothed during the session.  After assessing and cleansing the feet, the reflexologist will then activate the reflex points on the feet that correspond with one side of the body, and continue to the other side until the whole body has been treated. The reflexologist  applies pressure to the feet  to promote healing elsewhere in the body.  Don’t feel rushed to bring yourself back to the present moment too quickly. Take a moment to enjoy your relaxed state. It is recommend that you drink lots of water and rest as necessary following treatment.

Reflexology is beginning to be recognized by insurance companies. While some insurance companies are covering Reflexology treatments, most do not cover Reiki and Crystal Healing. Please check with your local insurance company for details.

During Reiki and/or Crystal Healing Session, you are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing, remove glasses, shoes and crystal jewelry. Since you remain fully clothed it is important for you to be completely comfortable.

Foot Reflexology is done with the client fully clothed, except for shoes and socks. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing including pants that can be easily rolled above the knee, or shorts.

During your Hot Stone Reflexology session, it is recommended to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing including pants that can be easily rolled above the knee, or shorts as your calves up to your knees will be massaged with hot stones frequently.

Unlike an electric blanket which uses electric coils to create heat, the Biomat® uses a combination of fabrics and amethyst stones to generate far infrared rays which is then transferred to the body as heat. The heat comes from friction generated within the body through the effects of far infrared rays. Far infrared rays warm the inside of your body and the part of your body making contact with the Biomat®. Should the temperature of any part of the Biomat® exceed the set temperature, the thermal sensors distributed throughout the Biomat® will cut off the electric current. When the Biomat® reaches the selected temperature, the E.D.N.I. lights will come on and will stay on until the Biomat® needs to raise the temperature. The Biomat® comes with an external control box which allows you to adjust the desired temperature and usage time (between 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours). As an added safety feature, when the controller is set to 131°F or higher, it will automatically step down to 113°F after 4 hours.
